I enjoy both more or less equally although I think Lifetime's stuff has a little more staying power. Either way this is a solid replacement that I doubt anyone will really complain about.

Bummed that Lifetime is cancelling in a big way. But completely ecstatic that Kid Dynamite will be replacing them...In a big way!

ive tried so many times over the years to get into Kid Dynamite and just cannot understand what the big deal is. i have respect for them though. but Lifetime having to cancel ends the conflict of time slots between them and Comadre.

Two of my favorite bands, hands down. The fact that I haven't seen KD live hurts me deep inside.

I love Lifetime but I think I've always leaned towards Kid Dynamite. Now I've got to find a way out there

Lifetime > Kid Dynamite

I prefer Kid Dynamite, but I've seen them twice since the last time I saw Lifetime. So, I am marginally bummed about this.

From what I heard/read, the "mystery bands" were bigger, non-headlining bands that wanted to play smaller venues. That being said? I realized there was a possibility they would play, but didn't actually think it would happen--maybe not a "mystery" set or whatever, but one of the warehouse gigs or what-have-you. Having it scheduled at a time I was planning to be at the Venue, anyway, though? Cheers to that!

I'm honestly not such a big fan of that whole "mystery band" concept this year. Simply because you could sit there waiting and dislike the band playing at that particular time slot. Too much of a crap shoot for me.
