Bands like Letlive., La Dispute, and A Lot Like Birds are shifting the preferred tastes in that field.

I'm impressed, it reminds me of TREOS with a female singer. I even hear a bit of Envy On The Coast ! Let's hope they won't lose their edge like Versaemerge.

They've actually gotten heavier. Their last EP was more like The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi, while this one had more energy like early TREOS.

Why not? There's more to a band than the singer. Maybe they're similar musically. Maybe their lyrics carry the same themes. People just look at the surface of things and its very lazy if you ask me.
