This is horrible news for me. I love this band.

Sorry for my lanugage here but this is absolute wank. Beyond Virtue Beyond Vice was one of my favourite records of last year and I was praying they would come over to the UK if only for a mini-tour.

And so it is that Vaux joins The Get Up Kids in the ever gowing list of bands I love but never got to see, thank god I saw The Juliana Theory when I did.

Sadd. I wasn't a huge fan of theirs, but I respected them as a band and they are much more original than most of today's sceneXc0re "bands." I hope everything works out for them

This is pretty sad news, they were a good band and "Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice" was a truly brilliant album. I saw them once when they toured the UK ages ago (they haven't been back since) and then was lucky enough to see them play a truly brilliant set at Warped Tour on Long Island last year.

I guess you could have seen the writing on the wall here but that doesn't make it any less sad

wow. i am so pissed. these guys were great. i even have a tattoo of their owl logo (not for the soul purpose of the band though). but this really sucks. my day is in the gutter now. and i cant get to this show at all. ugh

2007 is a cursed year for band break-ups, and so it continues with vaux. they were amazing. it just sucks to think about bands calling it quits, no matter how apparent it may be, it's envitable for all of our favorites.

These guys never got the appreciation they deserved. Always under the radar, getting shafted by labels. I'm kinda suprised they didn't call it quits sooner, just based on stress.

bummer .. great band, WOuld love to beable to see them again.
