Yeah, I bought one for nostalgia reasons and will def listen to it. I dont know why so many people think it's a waste of time and they keep getting angry/weird about it. I think it's more "pretentious" to be like "ugh, the quality is sooo bad. Give me my media of the utmost quality." when it's clearly not about that. Personally, I loved tapes, and they were good enough for many when we didn't have anything better/or something "better" to compare it to. I also loved how I could tape over the holes later if I stopped listening to it just to record something from my guitar or bass. The list goes on. I love tapes, and I guess others hate them. Just like people love vinyl--- I don't dislike vinyl but I prefer other media.

If you have a car with a tape deck that won't play a device adapter. Or you just like collectibles.

Its a collectors item. If youre REALLY into a band, you might buy it. Just to have. Theres probobly 3 bands that Id do this for (GLA Minus the Bear and Propagandhi) . Bands arent makin money the way they used to so maybe this is a way for them to catch a couple hundred bucks and for fans to get something neat. win - win.

First La Dispute (maybe other bands, I don't know) and then this band. I understood vinyl but cassettes seem pretty useless.

I don't think I'm enough of a hipster to appreciate tape cassette releases.
