Not surprised he decided to start something with Rob Harvey. Listening to a song right now, and it's not bad.

The new stuff isn't bad, the Streets used to be amazing back in the day.

I don't like how on the new stuff its all about Harvey and lacking in Skinner.

I had no idea he was ending The Streets. Such a great project.

That's sad news

I don't quite get the point of "ending" a one-man project. It's not like he's not going to resurrect it the instant he feels like rapping again.

Saw them play their last gig in London, and I just felt he didn't wanna be there, he had had enough of doing the same songs for 10 years. Though he made one classic album and a selection of great tracks, The Streets can go out with dignity, and he is only 27, anything can come next.

It wasn't just a one man project. Skinner just fronted it and wrote a large portion of stuff.

Nope, started with two other guys. Who I believe worked with him all the way to the end.

Sad news for music in general

I hearted The Streets so much. Bad Monday.
