Rise knows exactly what they're doing with this. Looking at all the great bands on their label, they are definitely going to be right up there with Epitaph as one of the best indie labels out there. A lot of people can't see past the scene-core (whatever the fuck you want to call it) bands out there but Rise is the home of A Loss for Words, Transit, Man Overboard, This is Hell, Hot Water Music and now TEN. They are a well rounded label and their future looks bright.

Also, at least (hopefully) this makes up for some of the crap Rise released this year.

I'm not saying that Drive Thru didn't get them artistic integrity, but that they had them under contract until recently still, and I know it was a big part of the breakup in the first place, as with most other Drive Thru artists

Don't know how you can't like The Mechanic at least.

Rise actually makes a lot of sense in my opinion, considering the bands they've been signing in the last year.

I think the triple album lacked focus, some parts of it just seemed out of place. The mechanic was a solid album, the mother not so much... the path was interesting to say the least, but not much lasting value. they should have just taken songs from both the mechanic/mother and put out one album
