I'm very much looking forward to Billy Talent's new record as well. Sounds like they're going to change things up.

I have no idea if you're a fan, but since you're Canadian I have to ask - did you check out Sam Roberts' new record this year? Thoughts?

Great call on Banner Pilot and Basement. This also reminded me to check out Joyce Manner. I like this. A lot.

80% of your most anticipated list would be on mine too.

Thanks everyone! Good to see other people liked the new Living With Lions and Spraynard records.

Haha. This list is probably similar to what they're putting together, but I doubt Punknews would ever include Brighter Brightest.

Sometimes I think you and I are the only people on this site who realize just how amazing they are. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think they have the potential to reach the level Marianas Trench is at.
They're like The Maine, but actually good. Really solid pop-rock record.

Yeah, I think it's time Billy Talent tried something new and I'm excited to see how that turns out for them.

And no, I haven't. Is it good? I haven't really listened to Sam Roberts since my MuchMusic days, when all of his singles from Brother Down and We Were Born In a Flame were in constant rotation.

I know and that's why I'm surprised more people on this site haven't caught onto them. They remind me a lot of the bands that this site grew up on too, The Starting Line in particular. And they did an awesome cover of Taking Back Sunday's "You Know How I Do" when I saw them play in September.

Nice to see Michigan Left getting some love. I agree with the love for 'Book Club', such a great opener!
