ABSOLUTExclusive: The Empire Shall Fall

The Empire Shall Fall finds former Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach channeling his metal/hardcore roots and mixing them with elements of punk, jazz and experimental music while employing socially conscious lyrical content. The band's new EP, Volume I: Solar Plexus, is out today on Angle Side Side Records, and you can stream it in its entirety on the band's AP.net profile. Those who enjoy Leach's work with Killswitch Engage and Times of Grace will be pleased, but the band's music is diverse enough to also appeal to fans of bands like Refused, At the Drive-In, Deftones and Between the Buried and Me.
