Press ReleaseSuperfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment, creators of the Bonnaroo Music
and Arts Festival, are proud to announce the initial line up for Vegoose
2007. The third annual installment of this dynamic entertainment experience
will be staged in Las Vegas on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27 and 28, at Sam
Boyd Stadium, encompassing the surrounding complex – highlighted by the
30-acre grassy Star Nursery Field with its stunningly beautiful mountain
backdrop. Two-day passes to the event will go on sale this Saturday at 10:00
AM PST only at www.vegoose.com .

Known for setting the high standard in creating the perfect balance in
eclectic programming for American festivals, Superfly and A.C. Entertainment
have once again made Vegoose the ultimate fall season destination for live
music fans. Headlining the 2007 festival are Rage Against the Machine and
Daft Punk. In addition, Iggy & the Stooges will be performing their classic
album "Fun House" live in its entirety for the first time in the USA. Also
confirmed are Muse, The Shins, Cypress Hill, Michael Franti and Spearhead,
Queens of the Stone Age, Public Enemy, Blonde Redhead, Ghostface Killah &
The Rhythm Roots Allstars, Umphrey's McGee, Ghostland Observatory, Thievery
Corporation, the Battles and more.

Referring to the evolution of the Vegoose lineup, Superfly's Jonathan Mayers
stated, "It's really exciting for us to be able to bring acts like Rage and
Daft Punk into the sphere of artists we present. With it being our third
year in Vegas, we know how strongly these artists will connect with both the
local fans and travelers looking to have an unforgettable music experience
in a special environment." A list of the currently confirmed acts for 2007
line up is below. More confirmations will be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition to a stellar musical lineup, the festival will host a
tantalizing array of other activities and attractions. Building on features
from the past—such as the Impersonators Café, the Wedding Chapel, the
Vegoose Cabaret and the Great Evil Pumpkin—organizers are planning even more
tricks and treats for this year's festival.

Augmenting the festival experience at Sam Boyd Stadium, Vegoose will also
include Vegoose at Night, a series of separately ticketed indoor
performances including the Shins, Thievery Corporation, STS9 and others –
starting Friday evening, Oct. 26 and continuing late night on Saturday and
Sunday – at such premier Vegas venues as the House of Blues, the Joint, and
the Pearl. The complete Vegoose at Night lineup will be announced in the
coming weeks. These shows will go on sale in mid-August, with Vegoose
ticket holders given the opportunity to purchase tickets first in an
exclusive pre-sale.

The media response to Vegoose has been fantastic: "Spin" said, "The festival
served up something for everyone, from hippies to hipsters, nuns to
nocturnal gamblers…it's easy to see how Vegoose can become an annual
tradition," while "Rolling Stone" declared: "City of Sin vices aside, all
these musicians and more were in Las Vegas this past Halloween weekend for
another reason: Vegoose, baby, Vegoose...With the festival over, fans
wandered out talking about which hotel on the strip they would stay at next
year." "Harp" cheered: "A carefully woven pastiche of all that is good and
right about the American musical tradition."

I'd just like to say that I saw Daft Punk play last Saturday and it was, honest to God, one of the best shows I've ever been to. Absolutely insane.

Ratatat was pretty good.

The best part of DP though, was the encore. The thing at the very end with the red outlines on their outfit was so insanely cool. I was on the ground floor and I remember I looked up at one point in the show to see the rest of the crowd and every single person, everyone on the 2nd and 3rd floors, they were all dancing and out of their seats. It was a surreal experience.
