The Classic Crime recently performed a brand new untitled song at their annual Christmas show in Seattle. You can check it out in the replies. The band recently parted ways with Tooth & Nail Records and will be recording their 4th full length album in January.

This was also guitarist Justin Duque's last show with the band, he's leaving to start a family. He's not playing in this song.

I fell in love with each of their 3 previous release + 1 EP so I'm so looking forward to this 4th baby. Thanks Jason for the video. Kudos for them if they will attempt to release this album by themselves

There may actually be a title for the song, but I didn't know it.

Their Christmas show was a tooooon of fun and they sounded great. I can't wait to get some new tunes in 2012.

Sounds pretty good. Hopefully their next album with have less of the Vagabonds feel and more of their old school feel.

Nowhere have I seen confirmation that they are recording in January. I was at this show and they didn't say January. They said "hopefully very soon", but it was far from a definitive timeline.

Regardless, love these guys and excited to see what is to come.

Brandon/IVM: We are all dying to know, when will the next Classic Crime album come out? Will it be available on CD/Vinyl/Digital? What is the title of the album if you have one? Do you have any song titles and/or lyrics that you’d like share from this new release?
Matt MacDonald: We are planning to record the new TCC record starting in January. We’re in no hurry, per the DIY comment earlier, so we’re going to take our sweet time and make it as good as we can. Nothing to share yet, but we’re hoping for a release in early summer 2012.

It has changed a couple times, though. I think they originally wanted it out in January.

One of my favorite bands. Would have loved to be at this show, the Showbox and the bands that play there consistently make me wish I lived in Seattle. Incredibly stoked on a new record from these guys. In case anyone is interested, Matt McDonald also has a solo thing going with his wife called Vocal Few. If you like Matt and folk/accoustic you'll probably dig it.
