Matt is pretty good. Never heard of him until now.

I just got the new Matt Nathanson CD to review, and it is excellent. Love it.

Matt's CD will probably be the best singer/songwriter album to come out this year, imo.

Damn this tour for comin to SF the same night as Brand New/Thrice in San Jose.

Warner has done a horrible job of promoting Melee. they should be huge right now.

I totally agree. They've been on all the wrong tours... Bayside, Amber Pacific, Bowling For Soup? Those tours just don't seem like Melee's crowd at all. For a band like them on a major label, I don't know why they've been marketed so poorly.

I'm so excited for the 3rd and Lindsley show. Should be amazing.

Wow, I might be able to actually go to the DC show for Melee. I keep missing them everytime they come through.

all they need to do is get on tour with like, the Fray or Augustana and then they'll get (relatively) big

Matt Nathanson is ridiculously talented, and hilarious. I had been waiting for "Some Mad Hope" for yearrrs and it completely exceeded my expectations. so stoked for the SF date.

Gah! No Florida!

I guess we'll just have to wait.

Melee is awesome live. I was forced to go to a Amber Pacific show and never heard of this band and this band was the best act of the night which wasn't hard at all seeing as the rest of the bands there sucked but Melee was awesome. They sounded great and were very fun watching live. Sort of reminded me of Andrew McMahon jumping around on his piano and shit. It was awesome

I love Melee.
I've probably said that in a bazillion different posts. But it's true, I do.
Also, they ARE awesome live. They're very nice the times I've seen them. And I'm sad this is coming absolutely nowhere near me. :(
Warner is doing a terrible job promoting them. They've been on some really odd tours. I agree with the person who said to send them out with the Fray. At least then they'd be playing in front of an audience that would like their music.
