The other day I was wondering when they would begin on a new album since There Is A Hell.. was released in 2010, and then I was reading the new issue of AP magazine and found out they're going to. I honestly don't care if it's post-rock influenced, I'm just excited for new music! I'm sure the end result will be just as good as their previous albums, if not better! They seem to progress better with every album.
i'm actually interested in this, 3 last traks on their previous album were pretty good, and they already included almost this kind of sound then.. i was surprised that i liked those, so i won't be if they'll make some good tunes out of this influence
Everyone talking shit (See: Sean) didn't listen to the last record. Excited for this.
I've listened to plenty of clips and a couple full songs from the album and everything I heard, from certain lyrics to the overall presentation, was god-awful.
Except for the first :31 of this song:
You know why? Because it sounds exactly like Envy, and I love Envy. Ergo, I love these 30 seconds. If this band wants to do more post-rock ripoff stuff I'd probably be into it. Just don't scream corny lyrics about being born in a hearse over it.
