im gonna go with: it was a joke the entire time.

The email address returned "bad" on verify email so either it's not real, or their spam filters are prepared for this and they will never read any of the ensuing emails.

If you put it into google it returns 10 pages worth of stuff, so it seems to be a legit e-mail address

This is NOT the post rock debut. It is a remix album. Some of the songs are in the new documentary, and they sound mega kick ass. I WANT THIS TO HAPPEN.

I'm guessing the label wants them to not do this, so they can get new full-lengths instead. The release would most likely count towards the # of releases needed to fulfill a contract, and the label doesn't want it to.

bad on that site can also just mean it got blocked by a spam filter so maybe they're just prepared for the onslaught haha

Although when I first read about their "Post-rock" endeavor, I didn't think that they would follow up on it.

I really do hate it when bands announce something like an album/tour and then not follow up on it or cancel it a week later.

It's not the post-rock album..it's some remixes that are sounding more "chill" (from the documentary they sounds great). Well let's just say I was looking forward to it.
