Kinda my sentiment. OMNI was ok, but it was a departure. I want a "return to our roots" album with some dance and guitar noodling.

Yeah, idk if it was the songwriting or production but I'd like some more guitars and less synth.

Agreed. Bayles just seems to know the band's strengths better than others.

I can't agree with this. Mainly because I'd rather see progression than a band regress simply because they went a different route. "Pirates" and "Menos" are fine as they are, we don't need a rehash of those.

LOVE MTB and hope they never go away.

I thought that OMNI was one of the strongest albums they've put out; that being said they've all been really strong and all have their own unique flavor to them so they really can do no wrong whether they're using more crazy japanese casio synthes or if they're focusing on the Knudson's noodling.

Id love a album that combines the best elements of OMNI and Menos but still progresses there sound. I don't want them to go and try to rewrite them though.
