I miss living in the south so much. Everything is so laidback, sometimes too much, but it's still much better than the crazy fast pace of stuff in New England.

i think i would have a hard time slowing down if i moved down south. has anyone moved from the northeast to the south and had a hard time adjusting to the change of pace?

I've done it, and it can definitely be a culture shock, but it didn't take too long to adjust at all. The only annoying thing I found is that stuff like public transportation never ran on time in comparision to the northeast, and no one ever seemed bothered by it but me.

I skipped so many classes the last few years of high school that I'm amazed the teachers gave me decent grades. Thank god I got out of that pattern and never skipped in college.
