Yeah, it doesn't matter. He's still been awful. He has career low OBP and Batting Average. And his lowest slugging and OPS since his rookie year in 2005.

If he doesn't strike out, he just hits a pop up or a ground out right to the second baseman in shallow RF.

Your comment, though, implied that he'd been striking out a lot. As for everything else, his BB% (9.1%) is right around his career average (9.5%) and so is his Iso (.191 this year, .193 career). He's not going to BABIP .227 for the entire year; he'll be fine.

I just meant to imply he's been struggling a lot this season in terms of overall production. At least by his standards. Likely to miss the all star game for the first time.
