Big Sir, the project of Lisa Papineau (Air France, M83) and Juan Alderete (The Mars Volta), have a new album titled Before Gardens After Gardens coming out on February 7th through Sargent House. You can hear the songs "Our Pleasant Home" (which features Cedric of The Mars Volta on drums), and "Ready on the Line" in the replies.
Ummm I think I may have listened to one or two songs by them through a last.fm recommendation. I kind of remember "liking" them, but never going back to them because they sounded so similar to a bunch of other stuff I already listened to so they didn't really stand out. Is there a specific song you'd suggest by them?

I really like their debut.
I like this a lot more than I remember liking them. So many bands are doing the tropical / Balearic thing these days, but so many of them do it so well. New Air France, Tanlines, and ceo(?) should make a great summer
