I guess I didn't know people trashed it. It was a pretty big shift in sound from The Guest to it, but I think the change was great. "By the Bed", "Knowitall", and "After Hours" are some of the best songs they've written. Album really is flawless from front to back.

"By The Bed" is my favorite Phantom Planet song. So many amazing songs!

In my opinion, these guys have yet to make a crappy song and are super underrated. Even their rare stuff, Negatives 1&2, Polaroid, and their sony connect session, all great. I know most just know them from the California song and then take them as a pop radio type band, but they have been putting out consistently good music since 94.

When I heard the song "Raise the Dead" and just all the noise and hysteria in the end, it just completely gave me an eargasm.

Their cover of "Our House" from The Chumscrubber is one of my favorite songs they've done too. I could listen to that one all day.
