gates is one of my favorite post-rock bands
and they're finally doing big-ger things, and I'm stoked but they need to be bigger.

criminally underrated, under any moniker.. loved them as That Was Something and even more as The Boys of Summer.. keep it up guys...

The Downtown Fiction are an amazing band with so much potential. If they were on Hopeless or Fearless I could see them doing big things.

I just love this band so much. I wish more people knew about what them and/or how cool they are. The two records they released are perfect to me. It's rare that a band releases the fabled "perfect record" but 2 for 2 is as good as it gets.

They can hold their own against any popular band today, and were the best of the bunch when they were at their peak. It's shame most of their fans weren't able to mature when the band did, and jumped ship on them during their second. They basically dropped off the face of the earth and that's really the end of the story.

I'd love nothing more than to see them play at the very least a proper farewell show. I miss this band. They deserved so much more.
