I read in an interview somewhere last year, I dont remember where. But Stephen said he did want to work with tooth and nail again. So this would make sense.

I don't think Anberlin has fulfilled their T&N contract, seeing as they've remained on their artists page ever since they signed to Universal. Maybe this is a way for Stephen to fulfill that contract?

I assume it is all water under the bridge now. I hope T&N push Christian to differentiate his sound a little bit more on the new A&B record.

What issues? The reason Anberlin left T&N was to sign with a major for more exposure, and larger distribution (equals more $$$). They had no reported issues with the label itself.

I don't know if they're "issues" but I don't think he was happy about the b-sides album and the 3-disc anthology they released after.
