Band's explanation of music video"What we wanted to do with this video was capture a twisted day in the life for a band. We wanted to capture and interpret all the messed up struggles you can have as a musician and put them through some down-the-rabbit-hole, dude on a bender type lens. The comic element was important to us too, we started out with the idea of an action comedy because we watch so many videos that are way too serious. We're serious musicians but we're also a group of video game/movie nerds. We wanted to be honest and have that come across, lighten the mood a bit in a dark and weird way."

He sure does sound like Cedric from TMV in the verses. I dig it, though. Also reminds me of a band from Cali called DESA. Not to be confused with Dessa. And that "motherfucker" was straight out of Wild Orchid Children.

Band also features Andy Lum, who plays drums in Wild Orchid Children. Need to check this shit out when I get home. I remember liking their debut EP.

Nope. Closest would be The Mars Volta, but I don't count them because of how similar all of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's projects sound.
