21CBD was not their best but still had so many good tracks (just no great ones, I felt).
American Idiot dropped shortly after I got into pop punk and realised Green Day were the pick of the bunch, and is still probably my favourite record.
Warning before that, my second favourite.

And I love their old shit (Slappy EP, Kerplunk, et al)

Great news! Green Day were the first band to pull me into the music scene.

Nice! It would be refreshing to hear some classic punk rock, but new Green Day is always good. They put on one awesome live show!

hopefully they stay away from rock operas this time. American Idiot was great, but 21st Century Breakdown was nowhere near it

Everything up to and including Warning still holds up really well...everything after is utterly unlistenable for me, no matter how hard I try. Here's to hoping they've gotten bored with these half assed anthems and write something decent again :)

I've loved every single one of their albums so far, so I don't see them disappointing me this time. I'm excited.
