The remaining tour dates for the "Beasts of the East" tour featuring Permanent Me, Scenes from a Movie, and Bedlight for Blue Eyes have been canceled. Read a message from Permanent Me regarding the cancellation in the replies.
So we wanna start off by thanking everyone who came down to the shows on the "Beasts Of The East" tour w/ bedlight for blue eyes, and scenes from a movie!
Unfortunetly the tour will no longer be continuing :( . Due to circumstances beyond our control we can no longer continue the tour. Basically The Junior Varsity was suppose to play the dates with us, then bailed to jump on another tour and then bailed off of that. The problem with this was that they were suppose to be the headliners and when they dropped the rooms downsized as well. Ontop of that Scenes from a movie had then dropped off last night in Jacksonville due to some personal issues...so us and Bedlight for blue eyes had no other choice but to cancel the remaining dates on the tour because it turned into a 2 band package. We really didn't want to do this, and we are not the type of band to just drop off of a tour unless there is a valid reason. Sorry to anyone who went down to the Social in orlando tonight thinking there would be a show. I would have posted this earlier but we just got back from our 19hour drive back to NY. We promise to try to make it up to you guys in the midwest ASAP!!!
We are now back on Strong Island until our tour with The Starting Line starts
on september 13th. Since we are home again, we will probably be keeping busy by recording some new tracks and doing some acoustic versions of songs off of "After The Room Clears"! We will make those acoustic tracks avaliable for you guys of courseee :)
We are totally stoked for the TSL tour, and the Secondhand Serenade tour aand we hope you guys are too!!! We just announced some dates on the east coast for that, and there are a shit ton more to come :) hope to see you guys down at those shows...thank you for all your support!!!
is it me, or does every time a band drop off a tour, someone says "i heard they were breaking up" right after the news is posted. frankly it's starting to get on my nerves, for the love of everything holy, don't post rumors without proof.
Given, I haven't spoken to Tony or Jon for a minute, now, but... I think that if this were the case, the word would be spreading around this town pretty fast.
I wouldn't read too much into it, at least until you hear something straight from the horse's mouth.
