ABSOLUTExclusive: Less Than Jake

Posted by - 05:36 AM on 02/16/12
This year marks Less Than Jake's 20th anniversary as a band, but they still manage to surprise fans. The ska-punk heroes have released an unannounced EP today entitled Season's Greetings From Less Than Jake. It's a companion to last summer's surprise Greeting's From EP and has five new songs. We're streaming the second track, "Younger Lungs," on the band's AP.net Profile and in the replies. Check it out, and pick up a copy of the EP here if you like it. The band begins its run of northeast shows tonight in Brooklyn; the dates can be found here.

Wow, 20 years? I am getting old. Still remember heading to my local record shop after cross country practice to pick up Hello Rockview the day it came out. What a great bunch of guys.

i'm just revisiting both "Losing Streak" and "Borders and Boundaries". The first is incredible, I don't know how I never paid much attention to it before. B&B ain't that bad either, just has the bad luck of being in the middle of their best releases.
i love this band. i fucking love it.

They don't come too often, but I've seen them almost every time they've played Houston since 2002. I want to say its been probably 17 times haha.

Really? Everytime I see them post tour dates, it's mostly east coast. I've only gotten to see them on Warped and stuff. :( I've been listening to them since Losing Streak and have always wanted to see them in a club setting
