I have a good feeling about this album. Especially since if his hair is blonde they are not doing that emo look anymore for the most part. American Idiot was great and 21st CB was cool but it would be nice to see either a return to roots or at least a non concept rock/pop punk album.

They were basically just screwing around there though. If they just went for it without trying to make a record with a concept or story, they could probably make a great record that's true to their history really quickly.

Tre looks like he put on a bit of weight too. I would love for this to be a "return to" something album. Perhaps experimenting a bit more a la Nimrod or Warning.

I'm pretty excited.
