LOVED that Royal-T single earlier this year, really excited for that LP to come out. Stephen...you've won, I will now go track down every Fantastic Man release I can find haha.

Must have been a huge thing to see Shlohmo for you Chris, I know you love that blunted out Wedidit stuff.

It was definitely the highlight of my Summer, especially since I've been dying to see the dude since I first saw him about a year ago. This time was even more special, because it was a really small club. After he finished his set, he got in the crowd for Salva (who also killed it). Shlohmo is such a goofball; he's a really fun dude, which makes me love his music even more.

Stephen directed me to you to ask this: do you have any recs in the vein of LA bass stuff? I have Shlohmo and Slugabed and have been looking for recs in that vein.

Also, here's a pretty cool article from Stereogum on the origins of Trap and how it's gotten to where it is today (Baauer, TNGHT, etc)

For some reason a bizarre, Asian cuisine-themed parody of Disclosure's "Boiling" popped into my head today in the shower. Something along the lines of

"Something is boiling, boiling to eat

You're a Peking Duck, and I won't let you go
I don't know how"
