I know how web ads work, and I would imagine that your CPM is higher than that of a site that gets a 4th of the hits that this one does, and why shouldn't it be. Your site gets more hits, the homepage real estate is worth more.
I have zero clue how whatever point you are trying to make is relevant to the movie industry taking advantage of Whitney's death...
