This is gonna sound like a chotchy thing to say, but this dude has similar vocals to me, and I kinda can't stand it. Solid range, but it always sounds like when he reaches for the high notes like his lungs could just collapse at any instant. If I could change one thing about my vocals, its that. Too much like yelling, at times.

that's a great song, and his singing would be fine but why a capella? it would be far more interesting with at least some basic backing accompaniment
