He came from a band called Tides of Man who were on Rise Records for two albums. They were both fairly lauded albums in the vain of a more progressive sounding Saosin. He left that band randomly and started releasing some songs under the name 'archives' as well for subbing in for Emarosa and Saosin.

I like it. Wouldn't listen to it that much, but it's damn good.

I don't see why it's so bad that I like this song... I enjoy Tilian's work. Is that a crime? I didn't think so.

Edit: He's also released some solo stuff that does NOT sound like this at all. This past summer, he released some demos that were up for free download briefly, and they were more in the vein of Tides Of Man.

I don't think they are that similar, and I like Tides a lot more.

And I do not like this song.

Better than anything Saosin will ever do post- AG/Cove... now that I got that out of my system, I enjoyed the shit out of this. Excited as hell for the album. Regardless of the auto-tune, anyone who is a fan of falsetto vocalists and melody should enjoy this song. If he can get his foot in the door in the electronic music scene, I can see him being quite prosperous. Maybe Skrillex or some other big name will take him on a tour?

matt malpass produced it, so i expected the instrumentation to be very similar to the Cinema, which it is.

i actually really like this.

I fucking love this. It's nice to see him branching out.

I actually like this a lot. I usually don't like a lot of this type of music, but I dig it.
