Copeland- The way these guys evolved amazed me. You Are My Sunshine is probably one of my top 10 favorite albums ever.
Fleet Foxes- People can talk shit about Fleet Foxes all they want, they're my favorite band right now. They're the best band of the last 10 years in my opinion. As an aspiring folk musician, there are no words that can describe how I feel when I listen to them. Their vocal structures, chord progressions, and everything are just like nothing I've ever heard.
Bright Eyes- My all time favorite. One of the best writers in the history of popular music. I'll argue with you about that until I'm blue in the face. Lifted is an indescribable album.
M. Ward- The best Saddle Creek act, besides Bright Eyes.
The Velvet Underground- My favorite band from the 60's. They were just so honest. Their album with Nico is a masterpiece.
The Gaslight Anthem- I don't have to explain this one. The Horrible Crowes are awesome as well.
Angus & Julia Stone- I love that a modern day band can still be really bluesy.
John Mayer - More overlooked than underrated. I feel like people don't really notice his talent as a blues musician and write him off as some shitty pop star.
Between the Buried and Me- Colors is a flawless album. Of course my name is BTBAM, even though I don't listen to them too often, I was obsessed when I made my profile a couple years back.
Dinosaur Jr.- These guys were The Velvet Underground of their time. They were doing huge things, but no one really knew.
Brighten- They were never anything special, but if you know anything about the local music scene in Phoenix 5 years ago, they should have made it past The Maine.
I'm only 20, and my music taste differs from a lot of you guys. Please don't eat me alive haha.

Nothing To Lose
Knockout and Nothing to Lose - nice! What about Bottomline too? I know they came back with a 'mature rock' sound, but I mean the old line up with the pop punk sound. When they were recording with Feldmann a few years back I thought were going to blow up
