Can I please have the TWY GK Tour Stage Drop after tour is over ?
I asked first, nicely and said please.

Would make a most awesome ceiling cover in my basement.
Or have GK auction it off, this way I can buy it.

They do, haha. And kudos on being a UKer. Thread needs more of them.
Also I need to find who will headline Hevy down here in Kent. I'm thinking maybe ADTR or ETID, but eh.

Speaking of which, I'm curious to know when TWY will play in the UK again. Would be epic.
Aren't TWY heading to Europe for a quick run after the GK tour here? There aren't any UK dates?

Also, Man Overboard is notoriously bad live. I assume they've improved heaps, but still, I've never listened to an amazing live video of them.
I've seen them 3 times, the first was ehh, but the other two have been great.

who's matt?

No but yeah, seems like there's so many good songs that they dislike playing. I respect them playing only what they want because that's kinda the point of choosing to be a musician, but man, I'd love to hear Hostels, This Party Sucks, some old GSOI, etc.

Haha. I was going to post 'Matt (who?)'.

Yeah, it would be awesome to hear Ninja Master/ Geraldine or even Keeping It Real. There are some really solid songs in their back catalogue, but unfortunately they haven't got enough time to play them all.

I definitely agree about Suburbia. Whereas The Upsides seemed to spell out every aspect of my life (I want to explain this as a personal blog post one day), it seemed Suburbia had a bunch of little parts which made sense to me. It's funny, because Woke Up Older is basically about the months after my breakup with my 4 year-high school girlfriend. They even got the name right in the chorus haha

It's nice when you can relate to music.

I've already blogged a bit about how much Suburbia relates to me. (Well when I'm not spamming my Tumblr with Paramore or Taylor Swift that is, haha).

I'll have a look into it. I was curious if they were going to play at any of the festivals here. I'm guessing that's before the summer right?

Yeah. I think I saw someone say they're playing some kind of festival in Germany, and (maybe?) something about a run with I Am The Avalanche. Could be completely wrong though.

TWY are playing two shows in Kingston (one of them is Surburbia front-to-back) and are playing Hit The Deck Festival at the end of April. Hopefully there are a few more UK shows added.

I would go Hevy if I could find someone to go with, but it looks like I'm heading to Download this year (hopefully). Slam Dunk is looking good too.

No music or artist has affected me as much as Lil B in the past year. Changed my outlook on life. And I'm not trolling

Yeah, too bad I didn't know about this band before two summers ago. Sad, because they were in MTL twice before I heard of them. One of the times was opening for Blind Witness, the Bled and letlive. Lol

Maybe Van Morrison in terms of songwriting and getting me to feel something. But Lil B changed the way I act

Can someone explain this to me. I don't understand the appeal of lil b.

I don't know if I can pin it down to a specific tape or song. Just the based mindset to be positive all the time and fuck what anyone else thinks.

those are the two releases i've spent the most time with but in general yeah, he's been a big influence. its alos inspiring to see how hard he works and just how much material he's able to pump out
