Let me get this straight.. You're whining because 1) the band sold out a show (oh no!) and 2) they're offering a live stream to the entire internet for $2.99? Let's crunch some numbers. $20 ticket (not including service charges) or paying $2.99 for a cool live show? Hmm.. I'm more inclined to shell out 3 bucks to support MO and catch a glimpse of Chain Reaction, a place I've never been. If you ask me, this is the business model of the future for live events, especially sellouts, and it'll slowly move into more quality produced (both audio and video) livestreams. Imagine seeing a Springsteen (or some other huge name) concert with production value like the Amex sponsored gigs on YouTube for a whopping $10 and shortly after get a DL link of the stream (possibly).. can't beat it IMO.
