It costs them about 1/4 of it next year. It's not until 3 years from now where it'd only cost them about $10-15mil in cap space to trade/cut Peyton, and by then the cap number will be higher and not such a big deal.

That's why that won't happen. The Luck camp knows that, they'd pull a power play the second Peyton isn't cut.

i would think the ravens will be the favorite to win the north next season. i know it's early, but i see the ravens as the favorite in the AFC next year. so much talent on that team. losing pagano might hurt (helps indy!) but the talent on both sides of the ball in baltimore is crazy

steelers unfortunately are going to lose a ton of talent because of salary cap hell. they could even fall to 3rd in the division because cincy is looking pretty damn good too.

Oh yeah, the Ravens will be by far the best team in the AFC North in 2012, and you're right, the Bengals are in awesome shape to overtake the Steelers for the next spot. With all the free cap space the Bengals have, and the draft picks they got from the Palmer trade.

it would be so damn frustrating to be a bengals fan. whenever it seems they're on an upswing -- they go 4-12 and everyone calls them a shit joke organization. although they look to be moving up -- this has happened a ton in the marvin lewis era. such a confusing team.
