Panic! at the Disco have supposedly scrapped what was almost a complete second album, and are now working on putting new songs together. They still hope to have a single out by Christmas, with the album to follow in February.
I don't like this band at all, but maybe they finally realized how "not-good" their songs are. Maybe they'll now write something worthwhile. Wonder if it was their doing, or their labels???
glad they scrapped that movie score Danny Elfman bullshit. However, if the song they played at the VMA's last week is one of the new ones, this record is going to be awful.
yeah the couple new songs they've played weren't very good, but of course it was in a live setting so who knows? Just give me a whole album like the first half of the first and ill be happy.
As much as I WAS initially impressed with their first record(i don't care that they hadn't played a show...means nothing to me), I don't think these guys will beat the sophomore slump.

if a band can't pull something off live, they don't get a whole lot of respect in my book.
i don't expect too much from this band.
I love how everyone on these boards raved about Panic before they hit it big. Now everyone seems to trash-talk them every chance they get. Of course, the same thing happened to My Chem and Fall Out Boy. Anyway, I'm still excited for the album.
