I'm from a city not far from Toronto, which is where TFK come from. I grew up listening to this band's material, and I used to go see them play all the time. While I don't find the time to include them in my daily playlist regularly nowadays, I'll always love them.

I know what you mean...there are a few bands who I got me into the genre to begin with, and although I may not play them all the time, I'll have a soft spot for them

I was in love with Set It Off way back. Then Phenomenon took a long time to grow on me, but it is their best. Then the Art of Breaking completely let me down. We'll see where this one goes.

This will always hold a special place in my heart despite the fact I have no desire to listen to their music. They were the headliner of the first concert I ever went to, and probably one of the first rock bands I got into. Over the last few year however, I have lost interest in them. Their last album lacked all of the energy and originality the band possessed on their previous efforts. And also as my lyrical and writing tastes matured I noticed their lyrics are awful (Listen to either "Rawkfist" or "Hand Grenade"). Set It Off showcased the band's potential to be a great band but since then they're music has been getting worse. The new stuff on they've posted sound like an Art Of Breaking II.
