I've tried really hard to get into these guys, but I haven't been able to.

I almost bought their album like 4 times, but every time I listen to every song from the album that is available on Youtube and I just can't get myself into it. It's weird because I've been listening to pop-punk and similar music since I was a kid.

I can't get into TWY either so you're not alone. Actually, I can't get into this new wave of pop punk and post-hardcore bands. I recently got into The Story So Far from the matinee show on Saturday. The only other band I really enjoy is Balance and Composure. I don't know. I guess I'm still stuck listening to older bands.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why people go nuts about this band. It's absolutely hook-less in terms of melody. The whiny vocals about "not belonging" don't really strike a chord and have been to death. The music isn't energetic enough to get by on attitude and isn't catchy/hooky enough to be a guilty pleasure. Just beyond me.

However, they seem like a nice group of people so, happy for them and their success.
