I'm sorry, but Tom Delonge is not going to be considered. Iconic voice? Yes. Prolific vocalist? No. Do you get the difference?

AJ Perdomo has a great voice. Brett Detar is someone no one probably thinks about anymore, but his voice is awesome.
Brett is great. Live too. Very good in multiple styles. Love his rock n roll voice.

What about the lead singer of Panic? I'm dropping his name right now but he's got a phenomenal voice.
Yeah, I thought about him as well ... his voice drips of "style" to me ... could do any style and do it well. He's great.

And I'll add Nick from the Swellers. I love the way he sings.

How about the dude from The Maine? I don't even know his name, but damn the slow songs on Pioneer really showcase his voice.

Also, no Dallas Green love (guess not technically part of "the scene" anymore, whatever "the scene" is defined as)
He's phenomenal. He needs more love.

Great discussion!

Johnny Craig - the guys the biggest douchebag ever but you can't say he doesn't have an amazing set of pipes. Dude can freaking sing. He gives me goosebumps live and on record. If only he could change his attitude.

Ryan Hunter - (Envy on the Coast) Such a waste, Low Country was a killer album, just when they started to find their place. Love his voice, powerful and passionate.

Shayley Bourget - Another massive powerhouse. He has a beautiful tone too. He's probably my favorite singer on the scene. I can't beleive he's only been mentioned once. Can't wait to see what he does with 'Dayshell'

Jason Butler - (LetLive) Saw this dude a few weeks ago and he put on a random little voice theatrics number, blew me away! So much control over his voice, none over his body :p SO much passion for the music.
