But, in a sense, I agree with what he's saying. But then again, all music get bastardized in one way or another. People assume that they can push a few buttons and suddenly make art.
But that's not to say that all, or even nearly all collaborations are crap.
And, yeah, it's all a matter of opinion, blah blah blah, but he still definitely has a point.

Haha I know... I was joking. Rusko, though, probably hates both.

I used to like skrillex. But I dove into the genre a bit more and realized that it has so much more to offer then "sik dropz" and monster sounds.

I feel like people here should appreciate his post in much the same way they appreciated Dave Grohls Grammy speech/post.

I'm not in tune with the Electronic scene, but the general assumption that when something becomes mainstream it becomes bad is wrong. From what I've heard, Skrillex considers his music just as much art as any underground DJ does.
