lot's of women join our armed forces because their boyfriends cheated on them. i'm pretty sure that's on the recruiting flyer: "did that bastard break your heart? all the tae-bo classes filled up? why not join the marines. that'll really show'em!"

men join the marines for a bunch of weird reasons (job opportunities, patriotism, family traditions).

oh, wait, now that i think about it, you're right, this is really fucking insulting. i'm surprised they didn't have a scene where she and the recruits bake a cake.

I love KP but this is one of the worst things I've ever seen.

Oh wow there are so many things wrong with this video.

Someone really should have thought about this concept a bit more. I can already see this offending so many people.

This was a so-so/bad video for me until the end when she's singing the last chorus underneath the giant flag. Then it become wretched.

Bad video aside, I still love Katy so much. My other friends have "singers" like Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, and The Black Eyed Peas as their guilty pop pleasures. This song (not the video) just reaffirms more and more my love for Katy.

I love Katy, but this really should have been done differently.
