Minneapolis indie rockers Now, Now have been generating quite the buzz lately. Known previously as Now, Now Every Children, the group put out their debut album Cars in 2008 before adding guitarist/ vocalist Jess Abbott and supporting Paramore in Europe the following year. Their sophomore effort Threads was released this month on Chris Walla's Trans Records and is an early contender for many AOTY lists. Currently, the trio are on tour with The Naked and Famous and will be an opening act for Fun. May 31 - June 17.

These guys have been coming up through the ranks here in Minneapolis for years and they've shared the stage with many, many great acts both locally and nationally. Just a great band all around and all three of them are genuinely nice people. I've seen them a handful of times and I've never been disappointed.

I'd recommend starting with their Neighbors EP. The song "Giants" is what got me into them.
