In his last seven games against Alshon Jeffery, A.J. Green and Julio Jones, Janoris Jenkins never allowed a 100-yard game.
Hmm, I think that is a misleading stat. Basically, in the game that guy left out (3 games against Jones/Green, 2 against Jeffrey), Julio Jones went for 5/124. That said, his sophomore and junior year, Julio didn't break 25yds in either game. Against AJ Green he was 5/91, 3/50, and 4/42/1TD, which is solid. Jeffrey had 2 games that were like 6/60 each.
It's a more impressive stat that in 8 games against those guys, he only allowed 1TD, and probably averaged about 50yds/game. Against 2 top 10 picks and a guy who would have been if he wasn't lazy.
|Wish this guy wasn't such a red flag off the field. I'd love to have him.|
Yeah, you're basically drafting Cromartie. Dude already has multiple kids from different mothers, and as the Jets learned, you suddenly have to start paying salary advances to fund child support. And when he's up for a new contract, it gets messy.
