Oh, and he was supposed to do this forum thing at Cornerstone but walked off stage after saying something about how he couldn't talk about his beliefs and that maybe he'd try Buddhism or something. That's kinda telling.

i mean, he was raised in a mixed religion background.

straight from his brother, mike: this album was recorded at a time when aaron was "...sort of revisiting [religion] and holding himself up to those teachings that there's no one religion that's going to be the only way to God..."

yeah you missed the point. ill try again. what do you say if you did something out of the ordinary and didnt want people to look at you when they were already looking at you. IMO those lyrics could be in reguard to shame, like if you got caught doing something you were ashamed of and that was a reaction to getting judged though in a differnet senario it could be seen as a cry of attention. the point is its sometimes very hard to find the right context in lyrics and in the english laugauge you can say the same words but depending on context they can mean very different thing (i also personally think that that is a fall in the langauge because langauge is about comunication and all that does is create mis-comunication...... Lyrics are not though they are just about expressing so ill stop because im rambling)

I am so so so bummed that this tour didn't come to FL. If I've lost any respect for Aaron (which I haven't) it's because they didn't plan any FL dates.

I know I'm about 100 years late on this band considering whom they've toured with and the fact that I've known about them for years, but I've been listening to them on a pretty consistent basis over the last month. Honestly, though, I doubt I could've handled the religious aspect of everything they are before them. It's hard to explain, but, yeah, been heavily into them a lot lately.

That being said, and I'm curious to find out from older fans, did Aaron ever come out and actually dispel the rumors that he's on the autism spectrum? I mean, and this isn't drawn from how he performs, moreso, the way his body reacts on stage and in interviews, it is blatantly obvious to me and I don't think I'd believe him even if he did.

I'm not sure. I've never heard him address it before. I've never really gotten that feeling from seeing him in person but he does seem a little...awkward, shall we say?...on video.

After they released 3 amazing albums, the steaming pile of camp that was "It's all false..." deserves nothing but the derision it gets. I won't abandon them, but I certainly don't support the direction they've taken.

yeah, I've read an interview where he says it isn't true. He does it in such a polite way, which is surprising and further testament to the character of Aaron- because really, that is the sort of rumor that I really couldn't blame someone for getting crazy upset about.
