Blessthefall Robbed in Montreal 's van was broken into last night. Blessthefall
Message from the BandSo, last night in Montreal our van was broken into and 3 bags were stolen. Matt’s plaid black and white Hurley backpack, Elliott’s plain blac backpack and Dreds black Under Armor backpack. Contents were brand new MacBooks, iPods, a passport and the flipcam. So unfortunately there will be no tour video from this tour. If anyone has information about our stuff, please let us know. We were parked behind Foufs bar/club in Montreal last night. #blessthefall #stolen

Stuff like this sucks. Hope they're able to recover their stuff or at least replace it.

Damn Canadians... thought you all were supposed to be a polite people.

This just shows that there are crude people in the world. Breaking into vans is what Canadians do these days I guess.

Whether you like a band or not, this always sucks when it happens. Hope they get their stuff back!

this is why they can't have nice things

gotta have someone watching the shit at all times, i feel nothing but sympathy for them, but I mean that's some shit you learn just playing local hall shows. musicians have a constant target on their back for these crooks.

why would you keep a mac book in the van. that shit stays on you at all times...

always shitty to hear a band getting robbed BUT montreal is notorious for bands getting robbed and broken into ESPECIALLY behind fouf and underworld...if you don't know, now you know.

lol foufs. Bands should fucking know better than to park there, it's such a shady area of town. Lower Than Atlantis got broken into at the very same place earlier this year.
But seriously, I know where that is, and it's just a huge congregation of bums and stuff.

Hang 'em high or not at all
Damn, hope they can either find or replace those items. As someone who is not a touring musician, what would be the proper protocol to prevent something like this? Bring the bags into the venue and leave backstage during the set, place in the attached trailer during the show, or something completely different? Also, should a touring band know ahead of time if a venue is notorious for these actions happening?
