Word on the street is that the lead singer of Scenes from a Movie, Tony Bush, will not be touring with the band on their upcoming dates. No word on the replacement at this time.
I'm a fan of Scenes From A Movie but even I can admit that their instrumentals are often weak... and Tony Bush somehow manages to pull everything together. I'm not saying that he's a wonderfully amazing singer, but I really love his voice.
Sorta makes any reason for going to see them ... irrelevant.
I personally disagree. I think, although he is a good singer, that his stage presence and in between song talking/gestures were very awkward, and always put me in a weird mood. Then the rest of the band always had to jump on the mic to break the silence. The band is called Scenes From A Movie. NOT Scenes From A Tony. there is much more to this band then just the vocalist. i think if this replacement singer is good, it can only be a turn for the better for this band, cause they will get away from the panic at the disco and fall out boy comparisons. and i personally think that is what is holding this band back from getting huge. the band by itself is much more entertaining to watch then him.

So, with a different vocalist the Panic comparisons will stop, and they will all of a sudden get huge?
Tony is one of the better vocalists I have seen in a long time, can't deny. His style and presence is what makes that band. A replacement will hardly come close to what Tony brings to the table lyrically and vocally, and they will quickly learn that.
I disagree that Tony was/is awkward on stage, he's an amazing singer, but I don't think he's all there is to the band. Like was said earlier. They're not Scenes From a Tony.
And just because he's not singing on THIS tour doesn't mean he's gone for good.
I say they're smart enough to chose someone to cover him this tour who's good, then I suppose we'll all hear whats going to happen for good after the tour.

Yeah ... I still think the band's dead without Tony. I know I (and therefore AP.net) could give a shit about them without him ... so ....

this is why you shouldn't spread unneeded shit around on the internet.
these boys are my friends, and they're going thru a hard time. i feel for all of them (tony and luke especially are two of my best friends in the world), and just wish that everyone could show them a little bit of respect while they try to figure things out for themselves.
