I've got friends who have driven drunk before, and while I think it's an incredibly stupid decision, I can't be condescending of a decision someone makes when they're completely wasted. What pisses me off is the people who say shit like, "I'm such a good drunk driver" and conciously know they may end up driving drunk before they ever start drinking. That'll get me really worked up.

People need to stop using the mentality that they don't care what happens to themselves when they drive drunk, and put in the mentality that, HEY, in most drunk driving accidents, the drunk person lives due to their body being able to relax on impact, and ends up killing somebody else on the road.

Have before, somehow gotten away with it way too many times. Now I just have my wife be the DD or vice versa depending on who wants to drink (most likely me since I'm only friendly around her friends when I drink).

I've done it more than I'd like to admit before (just through neighborhoods and mostly empty streets), but I was involved in a pretty bad accident about two years ago that probably would have been completely my fault had I been drinking at all. Scared me into realizing that accidents do happen whether you're drunk or not, and I don't want to take that chance of being drunk and having things be worse for me.

I don't drink and absolutely hate it when people drive drunk. My dad totaled his car a while back and had to take my car which I had just fucking bought.

Did it twice about 5yrs ago and didn't know I did it both times went to pick up my car and couldn't find it. Then found i'd parked it around the corner from my house both times.

Thought I'd learnt my lesson.

Then did it off chops the other month for first time in forever and lost the car for 2days. Was terrible. It was about 3miles into the city. Unlocked.

Def learnt it now. I hope. It's hard when you don't remember doing it.
I do know I drive at snails pace though.


Done a few morning after ones to get to work I'd reckon I'd be a touch over for. We're only 0.05 BAC
