I can pretty much guarantee that the contestants aren't "hiding" stuff - that's got to be a producer decision. Also, you have to remember that while Automatic and Meg & Dia are regulars around here, they're anything but famous to the general public. Even though the show tries to promote "finding the best voice," I don't think they want to promote the talent's past material.

Agreed, it seems that's not what the focus of the show is about, so they're not really proclaiming it.
