I'm curious to hear how this turns out. Bill Stevenson is more of a punk producer than metal.

I am excited for new AILD but Stevenson seems like a weird choice...is Adam D busy?

I felt a little apprehensive about the choice, but I think it will ultimately help to keep their sound fresh. While excellent, their discography has become a little familiar. Adam D is a great producer, no doubt, but I am excited to hear what Stevenson will bring to the table. In any case, Timmy and the boys make some terrific metal, and I think we can expect a very solid release.

Maybe after covering Descendents' "Coffee Mug" they decided to go punk rock on our asses. And who better to go punk rock on our asses with than Bill Stevenson?

Adam D is in full Killswitch Engage album producing mode, with a bunch of touring this summer/fall I presume, so although I think he'd love to produce this AILD record, he just doesn't have time.
