I've always thought Sting keeps it pretty interesting in his lyrics. Apparently that makes him a bad lyricist.

And Paul McCartney? Because of one song that isn't even that bad? Some of these lyricists (not Scott Stapp) have written some great lyrics in contrast to the ones that are mentioned in the article...they might want to consider that.

This list could be the dumbest list I've seen. I can think of like a million other people who write shitty lyrics. I think they put these people on the list to create controversy and get people to buy their magazine. Sting and McCartney (to name a few) do not belong on this list.

...and I betcha 90 percent of that office still remembers when 'Wonderwall' was their song.
