Son or daughter?

This thread is brought to you in part by the Wife's Prego thread in PL (which inspired me to actually make this poll) and my own inquisitiveness.

This is just something I'm genuinely curious about, and would love to know where people stand and why.

Absolutely 100% a daughter, and it's weird, because I have no idea why.

I want ~four kids, but there's no option for that. I voted "son" because I'd like to have a son first, but I'm not going to be disappointed if it doesn't work out like that.

I feel "No preference" would best suit cases like this.

Son for sure, I have four younger brothers and a nephew so I have some knowledge on dealing with boys as they grow up. I don't know anything about raising a girl.

As long as I have at least one boy, I'm good. But heck, even if I dont have son's I'll still love my girls.

Not sure I ever want kids, but if that were to change, I would want a son.

One of each would be ideal. But I'll go with however the first two pop out. Any more than that is socially and environmentally irresponsible (not trying to start a moral/political debate, just my opinion).

Hmm I do see where you're coming from, but this also might be a reason to want a daughter! Broaden your horizons / learn something new, etc

I would have no idea how to raise a daughter, but I feel like raising a son would come naturally.
