i grew up with this music, and then once high school came around and i was at an 'elite' school i became more introverted with my music.

now that i am in grad school and have moved away from my youth, i listen to mostly wave bands and post rock, but every time i hear one of these 90s punk bands it truly makes time stop and i go back to middle school and skateboarding in the street at the park.

fuck yeah

Two questions:
1) What are "wave" bands? and
2) Just curious, not even trying to be a dick, but why do you read this website if you mostly only listen to mellow "post-rock" stuff?

Watched this yesterday and I loved it. I listened to every band mentioned in this video and still listen to the majority of them. Brings back lots of memories.
